Just a Dream: A new Installation by Cica Ghost - Second Life

The dreamer watched over by a benign monster

Cica Ghost, the talented creator of many art installations in Second Life, opened her latest work on December 26th.  called 'Just a Dream'  it is inspired by the quote from Albus Dumbledore: “In dreams we enter a world that is entirely our own.”

The island is divided by a knitted wall that forms a mountain range north/south

Just a Dream is a flat island with a surface made up of wooden floorboards and  with a custom EEP environment that enhances the mood and the details. The island is divided by a knitted wall that forms a mountain range north/south, and has a small shop in the south west corner.

Tempted by the hook?

The island is populated by giant knitted creatures, such as fish, monsters, and cats.

Knitting and fishing seem to be a theme of the dream, but what do they mean? That is up to you to

interpret.

The island is populated by knitted creatures

In one area, you can see a figure (Cica herself?) lying asleep in a bed, watched over by a monster, that seems benign and protective.

Not everything is about fishing and/or wool

Cica has also placed a gift for you to collect when you visit, as a token of her generosity.

A knitted snake eyes the rope curiously

If you are a fan of Cica Ghost’s work, or if you are looking for a whimsical and creative destination

in Second Life, you should visit Just a Dream before it disappears. And if you like what you see,

please consider supporting Cica by leaving a tip or buying some of her items. You can also check

out her other creations on the Second Life Marketplace
